Volunteer Farmworkers Wanted - eligible for 2nd year visa in CATTLE CREEK, Queensland
Jerakala Farms is passionate about sustainable farming and ethical food processing and is looking for our next lot of volunteers who are wanting to work toward their 2nd year visa while experiencing the true Australian family farming lifestyle.
Jerakala expands over 22,000 acres across several properties. We breed and grow our own beef cattle and process our beef at our own meat processing plant and butcher shop in nearby Eidsvold. Jerakala also offers Bed & Breakfast Farmstay Accommodation to paying guests.

We are looking for someone to help us out across our whole operation, so you have to be prepared to have a dabble in all different kinds of work including:
**Feeding and tending to animals
**Fencing and general farmhand work
**Mustering (riding horses) for those who are experienced
**Gardening and yardwork
**Cooking the evening meals
**General cleaning at the homestead and the B&B
**Welcoming guests and taking bookings
**Working at our meat processing enterprises
**building sheds and yards
**Anything else that might happen to need to be done
You will be:
**honest and reliable
**willing to get dirty
**fit and healthy
**energetic and enthusiastic
**self motivated
**a team player who is also able to work on their own
Work is in exchange for accommodation, meals and internet access. No need to spend any money while you are here if you so choose. We have had over 60 volunteers stay with us on our farm in Mundubbera, so we are not new to this adventure. Some of our volunteers have had the best times of their lives and some have had the worst, but all of them have gone away with memories that will live on forever.
If you don't think you can hack a real farm job, best to not apply. If a real Australian Outback advanture is what you are after, than this might be the right job for you. We are looking for people who are looking for the experience, not people who are here to just count their days. A great experience awaits the right people.
We have room for 2 volunteers so we can take applications from couples or individuals. We offer to extend your stay for the full 88 after a probation period of two weeks and sign off 7 days a week.
